After five years of supporting local businesses and the community, the Rouse Hill Learning and Community Partnership will now finish up its work and Learn2 will be closing on 31 May.
Since 2008, the Learn2 hub has delivered a fresh and unique learning environment for people of all ages in The New Rouse Hill community, working with partners to deliver approximately 14,000 learning outcomes. This has included programs such as youth mentoring, supporting women to return to work and IT training; a legacy which has seeded other learning enterprises within the Rouse Hill Town Centre.
Over the past five years,Learn2 has paved the way for other education and support services throughout the community.
The decision to close the hub has been very difficult but Learn2 is committed to continuing to support community based learning and any surplus funds will be allocated to like minded not-for-profit organisations, so that remaining resources continue to support such learning programs.
The community space being used by Learn2 will remain available for community learning and teaching programs and all bookings made at the Learn2 hub up to 31 May will be maintained as usual. For enquiries beyond this date, please contact the Rouse Hill Learning and Community Partnership’s partners directly or Rouse Hill Town Centre.
